A Ross’s Goose was photographed Saturday April 26, 2025 at Leighton Lake. I was informed on the afternoon of April 28 and ran up there last night before dark. It is still present as of this morning April 29 near the boat launch at the Leighton Lake Campground. A huge rarity for the area with the last one reported on ebird from 2001.
