Took a different group as two weeks previous to see the Bighorn Sheep along Shuswap Road. We also had great views of 2 Chukar at the roadside and scoped out several Tundra Swans among other things. South Thompson River now completely ice free.

Traveled with 7 students along Goose Lake Road from 4:00-5:00 this afternoon looking for nature. Ended up making an ebird list. Two owl species in a day is a treat. Took 7 students from our school’s Nature Club for a nature drive yesterday after school. We saw 1 Coyote, a couple of Mule Deer, and 6-8 Short-eared Owls in Knutsford.
