Spent the morning in the Chase area with Tristan. A Rusty Blackbird was seen there 5 days before and this was our target. Despite encountering a large flock of Brewers and Red-winged Blackbirds, we were unable to find the Rusty but it wasn’t for lack of trying. We covered VLA Road thoroughly and then had a brief stop to scan the lake from Memorial Park. After this we birded the outlet of Little Shuswap Lake on foot. We then took the road back on the north side of the South Thompson River to the Pritchard Bridge. The list below if from all of these areas together. Checklists separated by location on eBird.
