BC Wildlife Tracks/Scat 7

This is a post of a few things I’ve been keeping in a folder for some time waiting for more content. The disappearance of snow from all but the highest elevations now is making me realise I won’t have many more snow track pictures coming any time soon. I hope to check out damp areas of mud near puddles in the future and get some non-snow track photos as well.

For now, this is what I have:

River Otters walking a creek looking for open water. I love how they use the culverts under the road.
Some tracks with some sliding on the right.
A close up with my boot for scale. You can see both front and back feet as they trot and some tail marks as well.
Coyote scat from a few days ago. Notice how it is mostly undigested fur from eating rodents.
Lynx tracks and gait on the left, my tracks and gait on the right.
