This is a post of a few things I’ve been keeping in a folder for some time waiting for more content. The disappearance of snow from all but the highest elevations now is making me realise I won’t have many more snow track pictures coming any time soon. I hope to check out damp areas of mud near puddles in the future and get some non-snow track photos as well.
For now, this is what I have:
River Otters walking a creek looking for open water. I love how they use the culverts under the road.Some tracks with some sliding on the right.A close up with my boot for scale. You can see both front and back feet as they trot and some tail marks as well.Coyote scat from a few days ago.
