Tranquille and Lac du Bois Road Nature Drive December 29, 2021

A morning drive around looking for any signs of life. Temperatures ranged from -20 to -27.

Cold Chukars
A completely frozen Tranquille Creek which doesn’t happen that often. You could see the water rushing by under the tiny water hole in the middle of this photo.
One of a group of Bighorn Sheep rams near Rattlesnake Bluffs
Lac du Bois Road with lots of wildlife tracks. We saw Lynx, Short-tailed Weasel, Mule Deer, Coyote, Grouse, and Bobcat tracks

Golden Eagle
