We were privileged to watch some Sandhill Crane Courtship this morning at Tranquille. Most Sandhills pass through here on migration but a few pairs stay and breed in higher elevation grassland areas. The male here was putting on quite a show for his lovely lady, periodically grabbing lose grass in his bill as well to complete the show. She was completely swept (if not knocked off) her feet with it all. I like his chances..
