Highway 5A birding May 24, 2020

After Goose Lake Road and Separation Lake I had to be in Merritt so I took the 5A down, concentrating on new species for the day.  Ended up adding Belted Kingfisher, Common Merganser, Wilson’s Phalarope, Common Loon, Lewis’s Woodpecker, Northern Pygmy Nuthatch, and Osprey to the day’s tally.
