More mammal tracks in snow from last Saturday Nov. 21, 2020.
Mule Deer of White-tailed DeerDeer sp.Fresh Lynx tracks. Notice toes far apart, no claw marks, right size, and stride. Fresh dusting of new snow on top of older snow underneath. It didn’t break through the older snow thanks to its large feet acting like snow shoes.Better picture showing gait.Lynx tracksSnowshoe Hare. Properly named with huge back feet for running from Lynx on top of snow. Moving to the right as their large back feet land in front of smaller front feet.Gait coming down the hill.I believe these are a type of weasel track. Front and back feet landing and pushing off in the same tracks.
