Isaac had told me about a Northern Hawk Owl he had found earlier this winter. After hanging out in that area quite a few times I was finally able to see it several weeks ago. It’s the second I’ve been able to see in 5 winters now.

Very cool… I love hawk owls.. active during the day, associated with snowy, open forests and fearless. i haven’t seen one for years and I miss them…
