Greenstone Mountain Birding, Mammals, and Wildflowers June 7, 2022

Isaac and I took a drive up Greenstone Mountain last night just before and during dusk. We tried to only focus on birds but the wildflowers at this time of the year (mid and low elevation) kept grabbing our attention. Wildflowers, mammals, and then birds below.

Grassland Habitat at the beginning of the road
Common Silverweed
Field Locoweed
Oregon Grape

Purple Virgin’s-bower
Round-leaved Alumroot
Shrubby Penstemon (one of my favourites)
Snowshoe Hare
Yellow-bellied Marmot
